About the Academy
BACKGROUND
Palace Super Falcons Women's Academy and Football Club was established in 2002 by Palace Group as a corporate social investment project. The Academy is fully owned and sponsored by Palace Group. The Academy was established with the aim to develop and promote professional women's soccer in South Africa. In doing so, the Academy identifies players with exceptional soccer talent and skills, develops them to achieve their football ambitions whilst enriching them socially. Players for the Academy are selected from disadvantaged communities in the surrounding townships of Midrand and Johannesburg in general.
VISION
Our vision is to be number one in women soccer development in South Africa. It is also to play competitively in a fully fledged PSL Women's Professional League

To play an active role in reducing the involvement of young women in crime, drug abuse and other social ills by engaging them in a sports that is both participative and commercially viable
STRUCTURE OF THE ACADEMY
The Academy is currently made up of two teams, the Palace Super Falcons FC as well as the Palace Super Falcons Development FC.
Palace Super Falcons FC actively participates in the Sasol sponsored SAFA Gauteng Provincial League. It comprises of a pool of twenty-two (22) players, some of whom receive regular junior and senior national team call-ups.
The Palace Super Falcons Development FC actively participates in the ABSA Women's league. It is made of twelve (12) young girls between the ages of eleven (11) and fifteen (15).
MANAGEMENT OF THE ACADEMY
Palace Super Falcons Academy and Women's Football Club is fully owned and managed by Palace Group.

TEAM IDENTITY
The logo used by Palace Super Falcons is presented below. The team colours are navy and red (home) and red and navy (away). Currently, the home games are played at Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa.
