Alexandra Pre-paid Smart Metering
In order to ensure sustainable, profitable operation, GRINPAL and City Power (Johannesburg), as part of a comprehensive loss-prevention program, converted the entire Alexandra to a prepaid smart metering electricity system.
After evaluating multiple prepaid products, City Power opted for the ED21 and ISMS 2nd generation system because it provided a complete solution, encompassing both meters and a revenue management software program.
The Grinpal system has proven to be both a reliable and effective solution to controlling City Power
