Mandela Day well spent at "Our Progress Day Care"
Celebrated world over, Nelson Mandela turned 95 years on Thursday, 18th July 2013. The United Nations recognised the iconic figure as a man deserving to have a day dedicated to him. All people have been touched by Mandela, to the extent that Palace Group couldnt afford to have all the registered staff skip work to volunteer at the day care.
A few of Palace Group employees joined in making a difference to children’s lifes on Mandela Day at” Our Progress Day Care” situated in Alexandra. They volunteered their time by reading books, feeding the kids and more importantly spending time playing with them and putting smiles on their faces. It was a day well spent taking action and inspiring change.
