Palace Super Falcons give back to the community
Not only are the girls from Palace Super Falcons quality star players on the field, but they also play a crucial role in community upliftment projects. One such project was the event focusing on hygiene, physical and mental development held for the Alexandra Childcare Support Centre. The Falcons ladies imparted their experience and knowledge on the importance of physical development through exercising and participating in sports. Five of the players also gave brief motivational talks to the learners, providing much needed inspiration and renewal of self-worth.
Current performance of Palace Super Falcons:
Palace Super Falcons are currently playing in the Sasol sponsored provincial league which kicked off end of February 2009. Since the start of the league, Falcons have displayed their exceptional skill we have become accustomed to.
Having played 15 games, the team's performance has perched them securely at the top of the league, with 88 goals behind the net and having only conceded 4 goals.
