Client: Kempton Park Local Municipality Description The government of South Africa has embarked on an electrification programme to ensure that all its citizens have access to electricity and many other services. The Metropolitan Council of Ekurhuleni in the Gauteng Province of South Africa appointed Palace Engineering Services Pty Ltd to plan, engineer, design and project manage the installation of some 2,500 electricity connections in Thembisa. The project comprised the installation of distribution lines, mini-substations, a medium voltage & low voltage network, house connections and public lighting.
